InstituteforHumaneStudies 1of2 about:blank Dear Prof. Ramsey, I'm excited to announce a new IHS experiment - online educa on. We're using our 30+ years experience running seminars to make classical liberal, educa onal content available to everyone. IHS has launched a "Learn Liberty" YouTube channel and beta website, LearnLiberty.org. Both offer full-length lectures from our seminars as well as short videos created with the online viewer in mind. We've worked with many faculty from our network to provide videos in a variety of lengths and formats. Here are a few examples of what the site will offer: IHS's own Nigel Ashford discusses the 10 fundamental principles of classical liberal thought in under 10 minutes. Professor Antony Davies gives a one-minute overview of the size of the U.S. fiscal situa on. Professor Howie Baetjer delivers a full seminar lecture on profits and loss as tools for economic discovery. I'm emailing you because we would love your feedback about what works, what doesn't, and what could be improved. If you would like to receive updates about new content, please reply to this email and we will keep you informed. This ini a ve is s ll a work in progress. If there is enough interest during the ini al phase, we plan to expand the content we're offering beyond a sma ering of videos. Our long-term goal is to create an online, mul -media resource for learning about the ideas of liberty. I hope you'll take a few minutes to check out LearnLiberty.org, let interested students know about it, and share any comments with us.
