DESCRIPTION:
Effective engineers are skilled at many communication forms. Developing these skills
early on in your college career can significantly increase your chances of success. This
assignment allows each student to describe an analysis both in written and graphical
form. Following the directions on the ‘Bridges’ handout, perform each of the four
experiments described.
Work with your teams, recording the answers to the
questions and any additional thoughts.
DELIVERABLE:
Each student must complete notebook entries detailing your results.
Include neat
sketches of the four experiments. Briefly explain how this analysis relates to statics and
strength of materials?
Expectation: One paragraph and one neat sketch for each of the four bridge
experiments.
