Areas of Control Section (CS) to dump include: EDAC RAM, EEPROM, and CS PROM (with the CS in Operate). Areas of MIE memory to dump include: MIE RAM and MIE PROM (with the MIE in Operate). Note that the MIE memory must first be copied to CS buffer RAM as images, which are then dumped. Supports Activity STIS-02 OBSERVING DESCRIPTION Proposal 11347 (STScI Edit Number: 2, Created: Friday, January 18, 2008 8:01:12 AM EST) - Overview With the CS in Operate, perform memory dumps of of the EDAC RAM, EEPROM, and CS PROM memory areas. With the DIB (and CS) in Operate, copy the MIE RAM and MIE PROM to CS buffer RAM as images, and dump those images. ADDITIONAL COMMENTS Prerequisites: STIS must have been recovered from Safe mode. (This is expected to be the first STIS proposal executed during SMOV4.) The Code 582 flight software team at GSFC will compare the dumped memory with the ground reference image. If any problems are found, we will need to suspend STIS prior to the next scheduled STIS activity (expected to be proposal 11348, not sooner than 24 hours after this proposal).
