Ms. Somerlot has worked as a watershed educator at Cornell Cooperative Extension of
Onondaga County since December 2003. Her primary duties include community
education concerning invasive aquatic plants, on-site wastewater treatment systems,
stream ecology & protection, and stormwater issues including rain gardens and non-point
source pollution prevention. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from
SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry and a Master of Science degree in
biology from Murray State University.
