This expertise is the foundation of the Siemens SWPS430O service program, which is specifically designed for turbines in an offshore environment. The SWPS-430O The SWPS-430O is our most comprehensive service program. The program is tailor-made for customers looking to minimize the risk of offshore investment. With this all-inclusive service program all aspects of offshore servicing are covered: from day-to.day service operations and logistic solutions to availability and component warranties. Offshore Logistic Solutions Vessels, helicopters and base facilities are just a few of the logistics solutions available that allow turbine owners to tailor their service solution for a specific project. Regardless the distance from shore and the weather complexity, Siemens Service has the optimal logistic solutions (see model on next page for further details). Offshore Selected Services Waste handling, fuel and offshore training are some of the add-on services offered in our offshore selected services. Offshore Challenges Offshore wind farms pose a number of challenges, one of which is the logistics. Depending on the weather complexity and the distance from shore, servicing an offshore turbine requires highly specialized transfer and access solutions. An essential part of our offshore strategy is to continuously develop safe and efficient solutions that match any customer need. Offshore accessibility Accessibility to offshore turbines is often limited due to complex site conditions, such as wave height, water depth and tidal variations. Each visit to the turbine requires travel time from port to turbine and back. Depending on the distance to the operating port as well as the weather complexity, the right logistics solution is key to optimizing the productivity of the service technicians and hence reducing turbine down-time. In addition to fast-response helicopters, which are particularly useful in high wind locations, our service fleet includes a variety of specialized vessels. The table above gives an overview of the various options. Far shore solutions The further from shore the wind farm is located the more challenging it becomes to access the turbines and if the site is more than one hour from shore, offshore accommodation should be considered. By using a flexible base facility such as a flotel, platform or a Service Operations Vessel we are able to offer safe and efficient service, even far from shore. Weather complexity Over the past 30 years, Siemens has accumulated thousands of hours of service experience. Based upon this knowledge, we have developed a flexible range of cost-effective service programs to cover differing customer needs. Our flexible product portfolio allows you to choose the level that matches your requirements for security. Service Operations Vessel (SOV) Advanced Vessel and Helicopters · Planned activities with advanced transfer vessels · Unplanned activities with helicopter · Planned and unplanned activities from SOV with direct access system supported by workboat Platform solution · Planned and unplanned activities from platform with transfer vessels, helicopters or smaller operations vessels with direct access systems Transfer Vessel Floating Solution (Flotel) · Planned and unplanned activities with transfer vessels · Scheduled: planned campaign with Flotel and transfer vessel or helicopter · Unscheduled: Fit for purpose vessels, helicopters Distance to O&M port Remote Diagnostic Services In addition to our logistics solutions we invest heavily in the development of innovative and sophisticated Remote Diagnostic Services. We do this to maximize the production of your wind farm by reducing down-time, e.g. through: · increasing the amount of tasks that can be solved remotely on shore · turning corrective maintenance into preventive maintenance · turning unscheduled service into scheduled, and bundle service.
