Report Control Symbol FS 2400-K, Annual Reforestation and TSI Needs Report. Each Forest shall submit their input for this report through the Timber Activities Control Systems (TRACS-SILVA) and will validate and correct the Forest data using this system. Forest reporting must be completed by October 20 each year. Some of the data used in this report is also input into other reports, i.e., MAR of the Silvicultural Accomplishment Report. TRACS produces the following required tables from the edited data furnished by the Forests: Table 1 - Reforestation Needs Summary. (A table showing total reforestation acreage needs by State, National Forest and productivity class.) Table 2 - Total Timber Stand Improvement Needs Summary. (A table showing total TSI needs by State, National Forest, productivity class and activity type.) Table 3 - Status of Current Reforestation Needs. (A table that accounts for all of the reforestation accomplishments and new needs created during the past year to arrive at current total reforestation needs. Reforestation treatments that reduce the needs are planting, seeding, site preparation for natural regeneration and certification of natural regeneration without site preparations. Table 4 - Status of Timber Stand Improvement Needs. (A table that accounts for all of the TSI, by activity type, accomplishments and new needs during the past year to arrive at the current total needs.) The TRACS User's Guide provides the detailed instructions for operation of the TRACS data base and display sample output. Base data is entered into the TRACSSILVA System to document accomplishments (FSM 2472 and 2476) and adjustments made by input of appropriate activity codes. Each unit entering data into the system is responsible for the accuracy of their entries and will take appropriate steps to minimize data errors. 2.
