3540 Page 1 of 1 3540.42b - Regional Foresters and Area Director. The Regional Forester shall: 1. Coordinate with the SCS State Conservationists. 2. Review Forest reports on damages, accomplishment, progress and plans of work (FSM 2523). The Forest Supervisor shall: 1. Be responsible for disaster investigations and coordination on the Forest (FSM 1590 and 2523). 2. Prepare all request for emergency watershed protection assistance on the Forest. 3. Comply with the Regional Forester's Emergency and Major Disaster Plan. 4. Direct the implementation of emergency measures, and expenditure of emergency watershed protection funds on the Forest. 5. Coordinate all emergency efforts with the local Soil Conservation Service representative and other local Agencies, that is flood control districts, resource or soil and water conservation districts, municipalities, and so forth (FSM 1590). 6. Prepare final accomplishment reports following the installation of emergency treatment measures. 3542.51 - Final Report. Submit accomplishment reports to the Regional Forester for submission to the State Conservationist, SCS.
