2704.34 – Forest Supervisors: All Staff Officers are authorized to sign certain Special Uses
Permits and related documents as shown in the following example:

2704.34 – District Rangers. District Rangers are delegated the authority to issue special-use authorizations and amendments which are granted for one year or less on their respective units and meet the following criteria: Uses having negligible environmental impacts and uses that are standard authorizations on approved sites. Authorizations which overlap boundary locations of administrative units or wilderness areas, shall be issued by Forest Supervisor.
District Rangers are authorized to issue term authorizations for approved recreation residence sites.
