1631.15 – Reviews and Clearance.. The Mt. Hood National Forest Public Affairs Officer is
hereby designated as the Associate Publications Control Officer subsequently referred to as the
Forest Publications Officer and may approve manuscripts and publication text within the Forest
Supervisor’s authority. The PAO is also hereby designated as the Printing Officer and may
approve documents for printing within the Forest Supervisor’s authority and within GPO
guidelines.
1632 – Cooperative Publishing & Production.. The Forest Publications Officer is hereby
delegated authority to approve administration, resource management, and engineering
publication texts for USDA Forest Service and formal cooperator audiences. Authority to sign
agreements entered into with a cooperator for a publication is not delegable below the Forest
Supervisor.
