The following procedures are established on the Prescott National Forest for handling the use of Forest Service Motion Pictures. 1. Training films and I&E (or general interest) films will be kept separate. The Personnel Section will have the responsibility for Training films; the Receptionist will have the responsibility for I&E films. Each responsible person will keep track of the respective films and check them out for scheduled showings. 2. Nobody is to take a film out for showing without checking the reservation schedule maintained at the Reception desk. 3. It will be the Receptionist's responsibility to have a general knowledge of the content of each film to advise the public of the suitability of certain films for their purposes and to recommend the proper films when asked. 4. When a request is made for a Training film from someone outside the Service, the Receptionist will check with Personnel for availability and suitability of the requested film. 5. The Receptionist will be responsible for seeing that returned films are in order for the next showing, spliced and wound properly. Damaged film or film in poor condition should be reported to the Receptionist. 6. The Receptionist has the final decision as to whether or not one of the I&E films is to be checked out. For instance, do not let a film go out for an evening showing at a club when it is needed at 8 the next morning at the High School. 7. The Receptionist will obtain the necessary forms from users of films and compile the annual report.
