The Forest Service uses the management review system as a keystone in complying with the intent of the Act. On the Kaibab National Forest the following system will be utilized to schedule and conduct on-forest Program and Activity Reviews: Annually, by December 1, the Branch Leaders will submit plan and schedule of actions/reviews recommended for completion during the year. Plans are to include who/what/when/where/how information and will also include the priority or emphasis for the action/review. Annually, by January 30, the plan and schedule will be reviewed by the Forest Supervisor and approved plans will be returned to the Branch Leaders for implementation. Upon completion of the review activity, written documentation will be filed in the 1410 files. Any items of non-compliance or exception to the FMFIA will be noted with the recommended actions to correct. Upon completion of correction, actions that bring the items to compliance, written documentation will be filed in 1410. Annually, accomplishments will be included on the Forest Supervisor's report to the Region for forest compliance with the FMFIA.
