A principal Staff Officer will serve as “Acting” Forest Supervisor during periods when the Forest Supervisor and Deputy Forest Supervisor are not available. Rotating “Acting” assignments by months follow: Fire & Engineering Natural Resources Administrative Officer Planning/Public Affairs/Rec/Lands January February March April May June July August September October November December The next person in the rotation will be “Acting” Supervisor when other Staff Officers are absent during their “Acting” assignment. If that person is gone, it will go to the next person on the list. The above “Acting” delegations apply only to intermittent short absences by the Forest Supervisor. Written delegations of “Acting Forest Supervisor” duties to a staff person for extended absences by the Forest Supervisor is required. Administrative Assistants will serve as “Acting Administrative Officer” during periods when the Administrative Officer is not available.
