Description
The MDU (multi-dwelling unit) series housings are medium-security apartment closures.
A standard Slam Lock™ on the MDU closures ensures security. The cover opens by sliding
down, out of the way, for ample work space. Closures are manufactured of heavy gauge
mill-galvanized steel, treated with a multistage gray-green finishing process for longer life.
The MDU automatically locks when the closure is shut, ensuring greater security, and saving time and money. Also, the plywood backboard allows neat installation of distribution
equipment.
Application
The MDU series apartment closures may be used in apartment complexes or multiple
dwelling units where cable service is provided. It will house taps, couplers, splitters and
other distribution equipment.
