Ward 021 includes the areas of Amanda Glen, Aurora, Bellville, Bethanie, Chantecler, Durbanville,
Durbanville Hills, Durbell, Everglen, Eversdal, Eversdal Heights, Natures Valley, Nerina, Okennedyville,
Rosendal, Rosenpark, Stellenberg, Stellenryk, Valmary Park, Vergesig, Vygeboom and Wairoa.

In 2011 the population of Ward 021 was 21 578, an increase of 2% since 2001, and the number of
households was 8 059, an increase of 2% since 2001. The average household size has declined from 2.70
to 2.68 in the 10 years.
A household is defined as a group of persons who live together, and provide themselves jointly with food or
other essentials for living, or a single person who lives alone (Statistics South Africa).
The population and household numbers above are to be used and quoted as the official numbers for this
Ward for 2011.

The population is predominantly Whites (85%)

88% of those aged 20 years and older have completed Grade 12 or higher.



