Biography of Frederick (“Rick”) Robinson and Marti Cherry
Rick Robinson is the Co-Chair of the Life Sciences Practice Group of the law firm
of Fulbright & Jaworski L.L.P. He also is the head of the firm’s Health Law practice in
Washington, D.C. His practice covers a wide range of federal and state regulations
relating to health care, including clinical trials. He also assists health care providers
in conducting legal compliance audits and in creating and implementing compliance
programs designed to detect and prevent violations of law.
Mr. Robinson received his undergraduate and law degrees with honors from
Duke University and is a member of the District of Columbia and Maryland bars. He
also is a member of the White Collar Crime Committee of the American Bar
Association’s Criminal Justice Section and its Subcommittee on Health Care Fraud, as
well as the American Health Lawyers Association and the American Compliance

Marti Cherry is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and International
Arbitration sections. Her practice includes working with global clients conducting
business abroad to resolve disputes through international arbitration and in compliance
with international law. She joined Fulbright’s Houston office in 2008 after clerking for
U.S. District Court Judge David Hittner in the Southern District of Texas. Marti relocated to the Dallas office in October 2011.
