They have not had the right nourishment, which makes it difficult for them to focus. Numerous studies have shown that students who are hungry do not perform as well as others in school. Our Wake up Wellington Breakfast program helps hungry students reach their potential by providing a healthy start to their day of learning. Our loonie lunches also help students fuel their brains by providing a nutritious meal at an affordable price. Students can purchase a $10 card for 12 lunches. Is your teen one of the 450 students who participates in Wake up Wellington each day? The Live Free campaign is one way that Wake up Wellington raises money each year. Each Wednesday morning throughout the month of February, we will be accepting donations for our Live Free campaign. You can learn more about the campaign and also donate online to receive a tax receipt. All money raised goes directly to purchase food for our Wake up Wellington programs.
