220 Sessions
106 Students came to the Educational Psychology Help Sessions, and they all went
very well! We are still unsure how many students were unable to attend.
-Next semester it would be helpful if there was a class list for each section of Ed.
Psych. so we could cross off the list of names of the students who attend as they come
to the sessions.
-Many students did not know where VZ 152 was, so next semester we will put signs
up to direct the students.
-It worked out extremely well to assign each class to a certain session, in addition to
having Peter Folkert in charge of the students who could not attend their particular
session.
-We decided we should add to the PowerPoint: talking about storage, problems with
works and Macs, adding to the Education Department, cost of Chalk and Wire,
compressing pictures, showing them the artifact library, and problems with not being
able to submit (wrong table of contents, being on the right page, etc).

Director Essay Due Today
Anyone who was interested in being the Tech Team director for the 2009-2010
school year should have written their essay and sent it to Stephanie Pasek, Katie
Oxendine, and Susan Cherup by January by TODAY! If anyone is still interested
please submit your essays ASAP.

Turning Tech Mini-Presentation
Many of the Tech Team members are interested in Turning Point, so next meeting we
will be having mini-presentations from each member so we all can learn!

Portfolio Process Report
The Portfolio Process Subcommittee has put in time each week to put together a
PowerPoint about how to make a professional portfolio, as well as a good example
and a bad example of a final portfolio. We give students tips on what to put into
portfolios and the pros and cons of an electronic and paper portfolio. The
subcommittee will be presenting on Monday, February 9th, from 7:30 to 8:30.

Portfolio Presentation for Student Teachers
Student teachers will be presenting their professional portfolios on Monday, February
23, from 6:30 to 7:30. If anyone from the Tech Team is interested in attending this
meeting for an opportunity to see a final professional portfolio, then meet in Van
Zoren 247.

Meeting with Mezeske
Only problem was with the rubrics for the group lesson plan and individual lesson
plan, but he will have to contact Jane with this problem. Also, some people are
uploading their assignments to the wrong pages, but he worked that out.
This concludes our meeting.
Our next meeting is Tuesday, February 17,, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. in VanZoren 247.
