The Head, Department of Electrical Engineering, Mizoram University, Aizawl invites sealed
quotation for supply of the following items to be used for the Department. Interested firms are
hereby requested to submit their product model along with specification and exact price.

Terms and Conditions
1) Quoted price must include all taxes, charges, etc.
2) Quoted price shall be for Mizoram University campus, Tanhril, Aizawl.
3) Quotation shall remain valid for a period not less than 90 days after the dateline specified for
submission.
4) Proper terms and conditions must also be mentioned.
5) In case of sole distributor, authentic sole distributor certificate must be enclosed.
6) The Quantity of the items specified in the quotation may vary depending on the demand.
7) The quotation received from different manufacturers/brands will be evaluated based on the
technical specifications of the product and quoted prices.
8) Purchase order will be issued to the bidder whose offer is considered acceptable technically
and commercially.
9) Mizoram University reserves the right to accept or reject any quotations and to cancelled the
bidding process and rejects all quotations at any time prior to the award of the contract.
10) Warranty: The quoted equipment and components must be warranted for a minimum of one
Year or period specified against the item.
11) 100% payment shall be made only after satisfactory delivery and installation of the
equipments. Advance payment is not permitted.
12) If the successful bidder is not able to supply the goods items within the delivery date
specified in the purchase order, Mizoram University reserves the right to accept or cancelled
the purchase order. In case of extra ordinary circumstances the vendor may send a request
for extension of validity of purchase order, with proper justification prior to the expiry of
validity date for consideration.
Quotation must be submitted in sealed envelope inscribed with “Quotation for Electrical
Engineering Department” and shall be submitted to the following address on or before 20th July
2015(4.30PM).
