Twenty-seven (27) credits, in addition to HCC requirements for the RN degree, must be completed prior to admission to the University of
Maryland School of Nursing. The minimum overall GPA for admission to the program is 3.0. A science GPA of 3.0 is also required for
acceptance (this includes Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Microbiology). Thirty-one (31) upper-level nursing credits are to be
completed at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
