Questions & Answers

Question #1

The RFP language for experience requirements had me a little concerned my design/build team should even submit a proposal.

In the RFP General information I.B.2 it states “Provide Design / Build services within the last five (5) years for at least two projects in excess of $2,000,000 construction cost, utilizing the expertise available through their Colorado office.”

Question: Can the combined experience of the design/build team be used to meet this requirement, and can previous experience with past companies also be used?

Answer #1

No, we are looking for the two projects having been done by the firm that UCCS will contract with for the project.

Yes, previous experience by proposed personnel with past companies can also be used.

Question #7

In the directions it states to submit the electronic proposal “formatted and tabbed.” Could you please specify how you would like the submittal tabbed as part of an electronic submittal?

In some cases, software programs allow electronic ‘tabbing’ of sections or pages. This is not a requirement but facilitates our review of the submittals.

Question #8

Could you please clarify the following statement in IV. Evaluation Criteria, General Qualifications : “Each division and exhibit described below must be indexed, tabbed, and presented on a separate page.” My assumption is that the word “division” refers to items 1 through 5 under
