June 6, 2013 PLN: 13‐23 File Code: R02 Dear Parents and Guardians, The second and final report of the Sir Isaac Brock PS Grade 7/8 Feasibility Study will be posted online tomorrow (June 7) at: www.ugdsb.on.ca/sibfs Please take the time to read the report. If you do not have internet access you can request a copy of any document related to the feasibility study at your school office. Report #2 is posted online in advance of a presentation to the Business Operations Committee on Tuesday, June 11 at 7:00 p.m. The committee meeting will be in the Board Room at UGDSB’s main office, 500 Victoria Road North, Guelph. As the deadline to register as a delegation has already passed, members of the public are welcome to attend but will not have an opportunity to address Trustees at the meeting. The final vote on the recommendations in Report #2 will take place at the regular board meeting on Tuesday, June 25 at 7:00 p.m. The deadline to register to speak as a delegation at that meeting is noon on Wednesday, June 19. Details on the delegation process are on the Board’s website. The Sir Isaac Brock PS Grade 7/8 Feasibility Study began in April, and since then we have heard from parents through the public information session (May 2nd), an online feedback form, email, telephone, in‐person and as delegations to the Board. Your input was much appreciated and valued, and an important consideration in the writing of the final report. Thank you for being engaged and informed parents.
