Resolution on the Annual Publication of the General Bulletin
October 9, 2002
WHEREAS recruitment and retention are important issues of enrollment at
Stephen F. Austin State University;
WHEREAS clear and current program information can play a role in
advising, recruiting and retaining students;
WHEREAS program development and curriculum requirements changes
are common on campus;
WHEREAS it is important to accurately reflect the titles, qualifications, and
membership of faculty and staff,
BE IT RESOLVED that the Faculty Senate recommends to the University
administration that the General Bulletin be updated and printed on an
annual basis as a measure to help faculty, advisors, staff and students
better understand the requirements to succeed at SFASU.
The Resolution was passed unanimously.
