algebraic and analytic skills needed for college or
university pathways that lead to mathematicsrelated programs such as engineering, science,
technology and finance. The pace is quick and daily
homework can be expected. Successful completion
of Grade 9 Academic math - MPM1D with at least
70% is recommended.
MFM 2P - Foundations of Math
This course is intended for students who are
going to college in an engineering, science,
technology or business discipline. Topics include
trigonometry, linear systems, quadratics and
measurement and is also recommended for
students interested in the construction or trades
industries. Strong algebra and integer skills
required. 65% in MFM 1P recommended.
NOTE: MHF 4U Advanced
Functions must be taken prior
to or concurrently with MCV 4U
- Calculus and Vectors.
