Follow the instruction and procedures in the Student Manual, unless specified differently
in this note.

Ch. 4.33 – 4.35 in AE

10-1 Follow the instruction.
You will clearly see the difference between the speed of the LF411 and 311. Try low
amplitude and frequency input to see Taj Mahal (e.g. 0.05 Vp-p and 100 Hz). Do you see
the Taj Mahal? Try to expand to see the details.
Schmitt trigger: Estimate thresholds for on and off, and compare with your measurements.
Hysteresis is the difference between two thresholds.
10-2 Follow the instruction.
10-3 Follow the instruction.
An alternative astable circuit: try to build a true 50% duty cycle wave.
10-4 Follow the instruction. Look at the waveform on the capacitor. You do not need to
use the X 10 probe as suggested by the manual.
10-5 Skip.
10-6 (Wien Bridge) You only need to build the circuit and check the output shape and
frequency. Compare with your estimation on the frequency.
