Faculty Meeting October 20th, 2009
Bridwell, Pharris and Swearingen in attendance
Discussed:
1. Advising – reminder to print off and place on door sheet for students to sign.
Pharris to make sign. Must keep the same advising time as we had in advising
center, free for students.
2. Office hours posted on our doors.
3. Alumni Day – 12 noon lunch, 12:30 announce winners of show. (judging –
Sandie, Jamie Stuckey, and Kelli fore other judges) 1:15 – Panel- Any Voinis,
Amanda Reiley, do not know of others yet.
4. Discussed videos we need
5. Talked about doing a lighting grant to get a lighting lab (will ask if MP wants to
participate.)
6. Business cards – add IM
7. Room assignments
8. Really strengthen 332
9. Work on projects to be strong for CIDA
10. Announce and ask them to sign up on Swearingen’s door if submitting for
Portfolio Review. (Will put an announcement out)
11. LEED Alums working with undergraduate students. Pharris registering project.
12. Mary asked if she could clean the boards every Friday and I said Yes, she is going
to clean them tonight unless you put a note on her door.
13. Next meeting November 17th at 10:30
14. Grades du on Tuesday the 22nd by noon. NOT Wednesday.
15. Trac Dat – will discuss further on adding portfolio and perhaps use same rubric in
332 to compare.
