Raise your hat: ACE to host unique fundraiser June 26
Affordable Community Environments (ACE) a local organization that provides affordable housing and support services for
Southwest Washington residents, is hosting an “after-work” party fundraiser Thursday evening. Titled “Raise Your Hat to Housing,” the benefit will be held at the Red Lion at the Quay from 5-7 p.m. ACE Executive Director Pam Brokaw said the event features a “high energy election night theme.” Participants will have
the opportunity to “vote” for their favorite hat/candidate at $1 per vote. Ballot stuffing is permitted.
The $20 entry fee includes five complimentary votes, refreshments, no host cocktails, priceless fun with emcees Ginger
Metcalf and Terry Murphy and Election Night Chair Greg Kimsey.
Go to http://www.acecommunities.org/ to register online and purchase extra votes. Brokaw said elaborately decorated hats will be available during both the live and silent auctions.
