Strategic Plan includes a goal to Increase the number of international students at Hope and the number of Hope students studying abroad (more than just a may/june term) ii.
Some Hope departments do not encourage or approve of their students studying abroad, the IE board would like to make it possible for all interested students to study abroad. b. Shiku ­ Campus Life i.
‘Love your Melon’ club requested to formalize on campus ii.

Therapeutic Horsemanship Group on campus ­ approved to move on to Campus Life Committee d. Jean Luc ­ Cultural Affairs i.
Approved the budget for international students and fine arts funding e. Joe ­ Residential Life i.
Reviewed the Committee of independent colleges’ report on living/learning communities ii.
Hope’s living/learning communities include Phelps Scholars, The Day One Program, and Emmaus Scholars. Currently, we are on track with the majority of liberal arts colleges f. Nola ­ Academic Computing i.

A collaborative project with the Women’s Studies Department, the Theater Department and the Women’s Issues Organization, The Vagina Monologues is a play about the experience of being a woman. ii.
The show is designed for college campuses, but contains some controversial content. This includes rape, tampon conversations, and women’s sexuality. iii.

The policy will include requirements to follow all school, local, state and national regulations while flying on or above Hope’s campus ii.
Commercial and private use would require permission through Campus Safety iii.
This is an action to protect private safety and avoid the necessity to involve the Holland Police Department if violations were to arise iv.
Could permits be given for students so that day­before requests aren’t required? v.
