 Seminary
Scholarship Application
The seminary offers a number of scholarships, which are made available through the generosity of alumni and friends of the seminary. If you believe you
might qualify for one of these scholarships, you are encouraged to apply according to the following guidelines.
1. Students must be enrolled or accepted into one of the seminary degree programs.
2. Students must be enrolled full time in both the fall and spring semesters for the year in which the scholarship is
awarded. Full-time status for the seminary degree programs is reached at 8 hours.
3. Students are limited to one of the scholarships listed below. Exceptions are the GFES International Grant and
the GFES Multicultural Grant, which may be combined with one of the other scholarships.
4. Students must reapply for scholarships each year.
5. Students must complete and submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) to be considered.
This reflects the philosophy that financial need is an important basis for scholarship aid.
The FAFSA is available online only at www.fafsa.ed.gov
6. Scholarships are awarded by a committee of seminary faculty and administrators.
7. The application deadline is July 1.
