Discussion of Off-Label Use
This course is designed for gastroenterologists, hepatologists, gastrointestinal
surgeons, and other health care providers who are interested in the care of patients

Because this course is meant to educate physicians with what is currently in use and
what may be available in the future, there may be “off-label” use discussed in the
presentations. Speakers have been requested to inform the audience when off-label
use is being discussed.
Purpose and Content
"Digestive Disease Week" is a comprehensive meeting focused on the gastrointestinal
tract. A vast array of cutting edge research, new clinical trials, and review material is
presented. The purpose of this course is to review in a focused manner the most

physicians will not only remain abreast of the latest developments in the field, but also
they will improve their diagnostic and therapeutic skills. The format of this symposium
will be a series of lectures given by experts in the field on a variety of topics, presented
in a balanced, unbiased manner. There also will be specific time designated for
questions from the audience.
