This program is designed for students who have had prior training in computer software applications and office skills. Students with
no prior training should consider entering the two-year program. Prerequisites for enrollment: Ability to keyboard at 30 wpm
(certified by a keyboarding test) and successful completion of ENGL& 101. Students will be required to work part-time in an office
during their last quarter. Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 2.00 to receive this certificate.

NOTES:
The Certificate of Proficiency is designed for students who wish to receive specialized occupational training for a specific
career objective. Students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.00 and take a minimum of forty-five (45) credits to receive
this certificate. Students are required to complete a minimum of fifteen (15) credits at Clark College to meet the Academic
Residency requirement.
