Introduction of Matthew from Housing. System Upgrade o Upgrade took place December 23rd and 24th § Clydes and UC Coffee are both running on the new system. • The new systems, will allow the POS to start and function if the network is down. Once the network is back up, it will upload the information previously used/entered. • Tungsten will work with DFS before the beginning of the semester to ensure everyone is up to speed. § Dwire, Columbine and Beth El will be upgraded this month o Event Center and the kitchen at Clyde’s are still using old printers and will require the old receipt paper/ribbon. o Currently on the One Card 6.8 version before the .net version Database o Removed from old SQL Server and moved to new SQL Server. o Still sitting on one node and not in the cluster environment. o Currently running on the MSSQL1 database hoping to move to the clustered SQL environment. Photo IDs will be loaded for the Spring, as of today, January 5, 2015 Reports have recently been showing information that One Card loses connection for 1 minute, at 1230 am. No further information is available at this time. Rec Center o Casi sent over a list of people who were not getting in. Summer/fall transfer did not transfer correctly. Issue has been corrected. Spring students have been entered correctly. o Old computer needs replacing and will continue to work with Ernie to order a new computer Break Procedures o Flex Dollar removal § Approx. $26,000 unused and removed from user accounts. o Dumping groups (admitted, students, faculty/staff, Rec Center, door access) § Tungsten worked with engineering staff to remove those changes Page 1 of 2 Tungsten Alcazar -­‐ IT Shad Harder -­‐ IT Mike Belding -­‐ IT Kirk Moore -­‐ IT Sarah Mensch -­‐ IT

Rolling forward to Spring 2015 semester § Fiber was cut in Denver last week, so roll over happened today, January 5, 2015 Start of Spring 2015 Semester o Meal Plans § Meal plans have expired § Turn on plans for January 18th – May 16th o Group dates § Summit/Alpine Groups January 18-­‐ May 16 o Load Housing Data § Kirk will work with Tungsten to get that started before Kirk leaves on the 7th of January § Steve and Tungsten will work on Timberline data next week. o Nick and Tungsten will compare and contrast One Card reports to make sure Nick is receiving the information he needs. o 3 more orientations left for incoming students. Updates: o Public Safety-­‐ records of access, not interested in tracking a person after three years. Heartland reports, entry would show up but no specific information regarding that entry. Tungsten is able to delete accounts but cannot delete access logs. Discussion of how far back with financial logs and door access. Nick will look to see how far back the financial information should be stored. Tungsten to look into how to archive the information. o University Center / Photo ID § New Customer Service Specialist – discussion of whether Ray or new Customer Service Specialist will be attending Lion One Card meetings. o Food Services § New POS systems installed and working. o Door Access § Looking into issues with Aspen and Telluride. o
