COURSE OUTLINE
On the following pages is a preliminary outline of the topics that we will be covering
this semester I have listed the topics we will be covering as well as a number of cases that
relate to each topic (I have included both the cases in your text as well as additional cases that
relate to each point). This outline should help you see how the various components of the
course relate to each other and how the cases we will be reading (and discussing) fit into the
issues in the course. I would suggest strongly that you refer to this outline frequently. It is my
experience that doing so will help you immensely (both in being ready for class and in
preparing for the exams).
This outline may be modified as the semester progresses. As I will explain more
fully in class, I will be supplementing your text with material from a new (unpublished)
version that is being written now. As I receive new material, I will add it to the outline.
