The International Conference on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development (ICSTSD-2016) is in the series of interdisciplinary science conferences committed to the promotion of sustainable development and the contribution of science and technology for it. Over the last two decades there has been a drastic growth of interest in materials that exhibit unusual properties which may lead to new applications towards the sustainable development.
In view of the key success of previous events, this meeting will definitely provide an opportunity to emphasize the need and to identify the implications of science and technology for sustainable development in collaborative efforts of three nations viz. India, Malaysia and Sri Lanka on a global platform.
ICSTSD -2016, is an International gathering providing a stage to propagate the original research of academicians, researchers and students on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the society. The conference will have deliberations in Physical, Chemical, Biological & Engineering sciences and Technology including sustainable theories and approaches of social sciences as well, during May 24-26, 2016 at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It will certainly abstract out the core themes to curtail down the gap between the research, industry and society to foster more persistent efforts towards sustainability.

Participants should submit abstracts of their unpublished research work typed in Microsoft word document file format with these preferences: Title (Times new roman 14 pt); authors’ names (Times new roman, 12 pt, bold)
;affiliations (Times new roman, 10pt, italicised) and main body of abstract (Times new roman, 12pt) and keyword (Times new roman, 12pt, italicised) with not more than 500 words without figures and tables. Last date for submission of abstract is February 10, 2016 and the accepted abstracts will be published on website by February 29, 2016.
Authors should submit the full length research paper for publication. Research articles submitted or presented at
ICSTSD-2016 are planned to be published as per the scope of the work in the special issues of Procedia Materials Science
(Elsevier Science)/ Sains Malaysiana, an International Journal indexed by Thomson Reuters published in Malaysia /
Journal of Solid State Science & Technology, an International Journal published by MASS Malaysia indexed in MY ALS.
