Then cover up the diagram and try to draw it again from memory. Do this several times 1. Choose one topic e.g. enzymes and make 10 revision cards for key definitions from this topic. Put the word on one side and the definition on the other. Then get someone to test you. 1. Choose 5 definitions from the glossary in the back of your revision guide and use the LOOK>COVER>WRITE >CHECK technique to learn them (you probably learned your spellings this way at primary school) 2. Or complete a quiz which has been set by your teacher 2. Buddy up! Meet up with a friend or use Skype/Facetime to test each other on a topic of your choice 3. Read one section (no more than 2 pages) from your revision guide and make a quiz to test yourself as you read through. Have a break then try and complete the quiz!
