Psalm 139:1-6
• 1For the director of music. Of David. A psalm. O
LORD, you have searched me and you know me.
2You know when I sit and when I rise; you
perceive my thoughts from afar. 3You discern my
going out and my lying down; you are familiar
with all my ways. 4Before a word is on my
tongue you know it completely, O LORD. 5You
hem me in--behind and before; you have laid
your hand upon me. 6Such knowledge is too
wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
I. He knows every turn in our lives (v.3).

• 3I care very little if I am judged by you or by any
human court; indeed, I do not even judge
myself. 4My conscience is clear, but that does
not make me innocent. It is the Lord who judges
me. 5Therefore judge nothing before the
appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will
bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will
expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time
each will receive his praise from God. (1Cor 4:35)
