Breaking Ground in 3D • Fans were treated to 3D commercials for the first time. • DreamWorks' Monsters vs. Aliens and PepsiCo's SoBe Lifewater featured the 3D commercials. • The commercials required special 3D glasses. • The 3D glasses use new technology know as Intel InTru 3D and ColorCode 3D, which replaces the old red-blue Anaglyph system. • One of the benefits of the modern system is that the images also work in 2D without the the glasses.
