1 Berklee Farmers Market Survey The Berklee Farmers Market offers the community the same local and organic food served by the college’s dining services—at cost. ARAMARK, the college’s food service contractor, sources local and/or organic produce and sells it on the patio of Berklee’s 7 Haviland Street building. The market began as a one-time event celebrating Earth Day in April 2011, but was so popular that ARAMARK presented it the last Wednesday of each month through October. Next year we’re hoping to expand the pilot monthly market to once a week, April through October. To see if there’s demand for an expansion of the market, we’re surveying the Berklee community. This anonymous survey should take about five minutes to complete. As thanks for your participation before January 31, at the end of the survey you may enter yourself into a drawing for five free meals in Berklee’s cafeteria. If you have any questions or comments about the survey—or about the Berklee Farmers Market in general—please email Brenda Pike at sustainability@berklee.edu.
