We congratulate these scholastically talented students. • Attention Forensics Students: There will be an open audition for the team immediately after school today in the Lecture Hall. Global Awareness Club • First Global Awareness Club meeting of the year will be on Thursday, September 25th in room 201 • There will be brownies • The Shakespeare Club will meet for the first time this Thursday, immediately after school in Mrs. Rinkacs’ Room - J303. Invitations for new members will be received today, Tuesday, September 23rd during homeroom. • Grow closer to Jesus through Sacred Scripture Bible Reflection, beginning this Thursday, Sept. 25th after school at 2:45 - 3:30 in the Chapel. • We will begin with the Gospel of Matthew. • Picture re-takes will be taken on Tuesday, October 14th outside the Donahue Pavilion beginning at 8:00am. Students must sign up in the Main Office by Thursday, October 9th. A flyer with the picture package pricing information is available in the Main Office. • • If you are having your pictures re-taken, you must return your complete picture package that day. Students who transferred or were absent on the original picture day (August 28th) should sign up. If you are purchasing your pictures, you must bring your payment (exact cash or a check made payable to Lifetouch) with you at the time your picture is taken. Please remember to turn your dues into Mrs. Maxwell By Friday, September 26. Also review the competition events and make a selection by Monday, September 29. Return form to Mrs. Maxwell in room J101 or in office mailbox. • Reminder to all Juniors and Seniors interested in being Kairos Leaders, applications are due this Friday, September 26th. • Freshmen Gracie Kennedy and her Girl Scout Troop are making news for their efforts to welcome the immigrating children from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador that will be staying at the Holy Family Institute. Gracie has dedicated over 50 hours to the project, preparing and gathering games, clothing, books and English-learning tools for the kids.
