This same program has been offered to pharmacy students for several years, and has a proven track record
of success. In past years, the pass rate for students taking this review class has far exceeded the pass rate
for students who do not take a review. Students from out-of-state, who are taking the Illinois exam, and
have had no previous Illinois pharmacy law course, seem to do very well on the exam after taking this
review course.
This year, the review will be offered one day only, on Wednesday, May 21, 2014. Federal law will be
covered from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and Illinois law will be covered from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The program will cover the key areas of law that are covered on the law portion of the board exam. In
addition to the lecture time, attendees will receive a comprehensive review packet, which includes FAQs,
exam tips, a comprehensive summary of state and federal laws, and a set of diagnostic test questions for
review. Most importantly, with the registration fee, you will have access to the instructor for follow-up
questions, via e-mail, as you prepare for the exam. In addition, attendees will receive updates based on
the comments, questions and concerns of students who are also preparing for the exam. If you are unable
to attend the review, you can still obtain the materials, which will include the email Q&A, and updates.
A paper copy of the materials will be provided at the review session on May 21. If you are requesting
materials only, a pdf copy will be emailed to you, with a paper copy provided for an additional charge.
