All rights reserved 14 TEXAS BASE Cut base to 9 1/2” x 9 1/2” square size using radial arm saw. Use oversized pattern to draw layout, cap and hole placement on base. Use 2” hole saw to cut out cap. Cut out shape on band saw or scroll saw. Drill holes in base using drill press. Attach finishing jig to bottom of base with screws. Use router with a straight bit to cut base to final size. All rights reserved 19 ASSEMBLY Mount rubber bumpers or felt pads to cover the holes on bottom of base made when attaching finish jig. Glue post into 1” hole on base. Install screw into 1/8” hole from underneath side. Glue tear bar into 3/8” hole in base. Allow glue to dry. Inspect and sand again if necessary. Finish project using approved finish materials.
