Term of office The term of office will be from 9 March to 31 December 2016 for a term of two years. 2. Lodgement To lodge a nomination, the duly completed form must be received by the Returning Officer – Faculty of Business and Law Faculty Board Elections, Office of the Faculty General Manager, Burwood campus by no later than 5 pm 6 March 2015. The form is to be emailed to blfacultyboard@deakin.edu.au and the original forwarded on the same day. Nominations must be made on the prescribed form which must be returned to the Returning Officer. 3. Personal details Nominees must forward with their nomination form a brief (i.e. no more than 100 words) personal statement for publication. This should be a factual statement of qualifications, positions held, length of service, etc. and not a document canvassing votes. The Returning Officer reserves the right to edit personal statements. 4. Eligibility The people entitled to vote in this election shall be members of the Professors of the Faculty of Business and Law whose appointments are both 0.5 fraction or more of twelve months duration or more. 5. Conduct of poll In the event of there being more nominations than there are vacancies, a poll will be conducted electronically. Due notice of the poll will be given. Voting papers and envelopes will not be distributed manually.
