Hemisphere
Half of a sphere.
Equator
An imaginary line that divides earth into the
northern and southern hemispheres. The equator
is the 0° line of latitude.
Prime Meridian
An imaginary line that divides the earth into the
eastern and western hemispheres. The prime
meridian is the 0° line of longitude.
