Winter Session 2015 “Freshmen Friendly” Programs The Institute for Global Studies provides students with opportunities to participate in Study Abroad and Domestic Study Programs in various regions of the world. Students may apply for one of these programs by visiting our website: www.udel.edu/global . You need not be a major in any specific department to apply. However, some courses may have prerequisites. Tuition rates are identical to those charged on the Newark campus and the program expenses (airfare, accommodations, health insurance etc.) vary from program to program. Program and scholarship application deadline is September 20 for open programs, unless otherwise noted. Programs listed below are still open and are designated as “freshmen friendly”, i.e. the faculty directors welcome applications from first-year students. For a complete listing of programs, please see our website.
