KINO’S SON COYOTITO IS BITTEN
BY A SCORPION
PLOT
• Kino lives with his family in a settlement of
brush houses on the out skirts of La Paz.
• Kino goes out to watch the dawn break.
• Juana goes about her domestic chores:
Prepares the breakfast
Cleans the baby ( Coyotito )
Breastfeeds him
• The neighbors go about their routine.
• Kino eats his breakfast first followed by
Juana.
- Kino & Juana see a scorpion moving slowly down
the rope.
- Coyotito shakes the rope and falls on his
shoulder.
- Kino catches the scorpion and smashes it into a
paste.
- Juana tries to suck the poison out of the sting.
- Juana asks the doctor but the neighbors told her
that the doctor will not come.
- Juana wants to meet the Doctor.
- The doctor refuse to give a treatment because
they doesn’t has money.
