INTRODUCTION
According to Anderson C.A (448-450) “Media violence are any scenes that depict intentional
attempt by individual to inflict harm on others and individual can be a non- human cartoon
character, real person or anything in between”. In my essay I will state the impact of media
violence in the society as a whole both negative and positive impacts, I will further state the
expert views on the matter and my view as an individual affected by this media violence
scandal. I will conclude by giving an overview of this matter.
BODY
Are the media violence scenes the one to blame on the society brutal acts? People just act
brutally after that they blame the violence contained in the media scenes; they just do all
this in need of a reason to stand by. Elizabeth Thoman (2000: 125) stated that “watching
media violence scenes does not itself cause the people to be violent”. In media violent
scenes there is no part that tells people to go and act brutally on others so all this people
blaming media violent are just making a reason to hide from their acts.
Are media violent the scenes to take into consideration when improving children learning
ability? The way I see things, media violence scenes must be taken into account when
teaching children basic life skills because if we keep on making these kind of acts hidden
from them is the more they will go out in search of the hidden answers, that why are they
restricted from this kind of scenes. Van Evra, J. et al (1990) stated that “media violence
scenes help children in improving their reasoning capacity and help them to be able to
assess and evaluate different situations in no time and come up with best suitable solutions
for different challenges. Making available of answers to the children will make them to feel
as part of the society and they will not make an issue out of those acts that are contained in
those media scenes because they will just accept and take those acts as normal acts.
Is the society as a whole benefiting from scenes of media violent? According to Gunter, B,
and McAleer, J. (1997) stated that “people need the violent scenes (entertainment) in order
to explore the inescapable feeling that they have been taught to deny and to reintegrate
those feelings into a more whole and more complex”. This kind of scenes makes people to
feel and accept that we are in the moving world so everything is told like it is with no limit
from experiencing the world as a whole.
Should media violence scenes be scenes be scene for all people regardless of the age and
gender? Media scenes should be made available for all people because this days we
experience the same challenges whether your old or young, so regardless of the age people
must be alert of the world we living on and the challenges that they may come across.

on and warned. Children get raped and abused so they need this kind of scenes to be able to
act and to familiarise themselves with many challenges as possible in order to make them
alerted to such events.
Are media violent scenes the one making people to be more physical and verbal aggressive?
Van Evans et al. 1990. Stated that “media violence increase the exposer of physical and
verbal aggressive among the society, because you find a child using illegal words towards
other children and so that they later start to practice all acts seen on those scenes. I do
agree with the author on this one because the more the people are exposed to these kind of
scenes the more they will claim that they can make easy cash by stealing copying from the
scenes seen on violent episodes trying to imitate those acts, thinking that life is as easy just
black or white.
CONCLUSION
Media violent scenes are the scenes that help people to be active and responsible for many
challenges that they come across or involve in life, so people have to start taking media
violence scene in a positive way that can help them escape or help themselves in the case of
emergencies. People who grown-up having access to the media violence scenes are active
compare to those grown without them so media violence scenes are the ones to consider in
upbringing a good society.
