Respect ALL Classroom Expectations: Science Notebook • Scholars are required to use a composition notebook for all scientific explorations. • All classwork, labs, homework must be completed in the science notebook. • All science notebooks should include: • a table of contents with date, title, and page number. Principal’s Book Club • Scholars are encouraged to read 25 science related books by end of the school year. Portfolio Pieces: 30% • Ten Portfolio Pieces are necessary to excel to next grade. Classwork and Labs: 30% • Labs are essential to understanding scientific concepts. • Scholars are expected to complete all labs in order to be successful in their science classes.
