Canadian Entrepreneurs Assignment

(20 marks) Due date: Sept 30/15

Learning about entrepreneurs and their stories often provide the inspiration to propel you to pursue a business idea that you have. From the list provided on the second page (or if you have someone particular in mind), choose a Canadian entrepreneur to research. After you have completed your research, determine the best way to present your information to the class. You can create a poster board, a PowerPoint presentation, a brochure, or any other idea you may have. You will be given 5 minutes to present your information to the class. Your information should include, but is not limited to:

 Name of your entrepreneur

 Description of their business including how they started, what they do/sell, where they sell, who they sell to, etc.

Why you chose this entrepreneur / what you found interesting about this entrepreneur

A biography of your entrepreneur including any special characteristics / experiences they had

Factors that led to their success

An interesting story or piece of information about your entrepreneur

Based on your research, which of the Motivations, Aptitudes and Attitudes (see below) do you think your entrepreneur has. Explain why you think this.
