Wheeled Vehicle Diesel Mechanic 575th 41st Fires Brigade Field Artillery
Responsible for conducting scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks and services as per
U.S. Army standards and regulations on all wheeled vehicles assigned for the unit. I have
knowledge and basic principles of compression and combustion engines, hydraulic, pneumatic,
and electrical systems of all wheeled vehicles in the fleet, responsible for the safe handling,
storage and disposal of hazardous materials within the maintenance field. Results: The unit just
completed a Environmental Protection Agency inspection of the units assigned area of work.
The team received a grade of a 100% for the third time in a row; making our unit the only unit in
Fort Hood history to receive a perfect score three consecutive times! Awards include four Army
Achievement Awards in recognition for superior work ethic and performance in line with my
duties.
Civilian Experience
Schlumberger
2007-2011
Offshore Senior Wire line Operator
Being responsible for the maintaining and operation of all surface equipment involved in
offshore wire line operations. All of this equipment is vital to the mission. As a wire line
operator you are directly responsible for the success of the mission. The job starts and ends with
the operators performance; from the building of the head, the electrical connection from the wire
line to the down hole tools to transmit and receive data to accurately log gas and oil wells, as
well as operating pressure control related equipment to keep the well under control at all times. I
am also responsible for keeping materials and supplies on my crew at an accurate level to
complete the task at hand. Results: In the three years I have been with Schlumberger I have had
zero lost time due to improper work, or work related practices and have been directly involved in
bringing over $ 4 million dollars of revenue to the district through flawless execution of my
assigned responsibilities.
Horizontal Wireline Services
General Operator
2011-2013
As a General Operator I had to have a clear understanding of all ground operations outside of the
logging truck. I was responsible for a crew of 3 operators at any given time. Responsible for the
training of S.S.E.’s (Short Service Employees) in all aspects of our pump down operations.
Directly responsible for training people in the operation of all 10 k Elmar Grease pacakages
utilized in our day to day pump down operations. I was also tasked with keeping daily explosive
inventory for the Engineer on location. I have zero lost time due to improper load outs, and zero
lost time due to human error miss runs. I’ve been directly involved with training multiple people
from the ground up that are now in J.F.E. positions!
Horizontal Wireline Services
Cased Hole Completions Field Engineer
2013-2015
Tasked with the safe operations of jet perforating gun systems conveyed on wireline in gas and
oil wells in the Marcellus Shale and the EagleFord Shale. As an Engineer for Horizontal
Wireline I am the face of the company on all client well sites. I am responsible for a multitude of
tasks such as adhering to all H.S.E. policies set forth by our company as well as client specific
policies as well. I am responsible for ensuring all of our personnel are up to date with the latest
training and S.O.P.s ( Standard Operating Procedures). I have never had any U.P.O. ( Unintentional Pull Out) at surface or downhole, or any O.D.P. (Off Depth Perforation) I have
Knowledge of Vertical Operations as well, Lately I have been setting Production Packers and
running various 3rd party tools such as Gyros, and Tractors for pump down toe preps. Extensive
experience with Dyna Energetics gun systems from Selectronic (External Switches) to the new
DynaSelect.( Switch is integrated into the Detonator) As well as Titan RF safe Control Fire
System.
Allied Horizontal Wireline Services
2015-Present
Field Service Coordinator
As a Field Service Coordinator I am tasked with a multitude of responsibilities that significantly
reduce the work load on the Field Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and Service Quality
department occasionally. I assist in the upkeep and dispatch of equipment and vehicles at our
Victoria, TX. Facility. I also help in job preparation such as loadouts and pre-job checks/repair of
tools and equipment. (Benchmark Wireline 3k measuring heads and Titan quad diode Casing
Collar Locators, ICS Addressable Detachment Tool.) I serve as a training mentor to operators of
all levels and junior field engineers, as well as green engineers. I help spread my knowledge of
cased hole operations and the correct Allied Horizontal Wireline values and vision within the
team. This greatly contributes to the success of the team as evidenced by our very low lost time
or NPT (Non Productive Time) in the Victoria District. We as a team have also achieved a run to
miss-run ratio of 148 to 1 for the year! With my knowledge of Pressure Control equipment I was
given the project of procuring the proper configurations required by Talisman Energy to
successfully deploy our services in the Eagleford Shale play. All Talisman Energy Jobs were
completed successfully with our new 10 k WP Elmar equipment having a significant positive
impact of revenue by being able to bundle services and reduce client cost. I am also responsible
for the up keep and general maintenance on all three of our staff houses for the district. All minor
repairs within reason ( painting, changing filters, replacing hinges etc.) I do myself whereas
major repairs I seek out contractors and compare submitted bids to keep cost down and revenue
up.
