***Brochure requirements:

Writing on the poster can be hand written or typed
o Fluency, spelling, and grammar count towards your grade.
o Must be written/typed in your own words!! If you DO NOT it is plagiarism and it is
illegal!
o Summarize the textbook section first! Then you may use any extra research and
information to supplement or add to it.
Must be colorful and eye appealing
***Works Cited Page:




Must have a Works Cited page listing references used for your research.
Must have the proper format (title, font size & style, double-spaced, alphabetized, indented…)
by using www.easybib.com.
Must have a minimum of 2 different sources in addition to your textbook (total of 3 sources).
You will print this page and turn it in separately from your poster.
***Presentation:







You will be graded on your presentation to the class.
You will show the class your poster brochure.
You will present your Topic of Choice. You will read or discuss a topic of interest to you about
Ancient Greece.
Your Topic of Choice can be written/typed on a notecard/paper (I will collect this).
You can directly read what you wrote, or you can memorize and discuss it…your choice.
Presentation on your Topic of Choice must be a minimum of 2 minutes.
You may use/bring any extra materials to your presentation such as food, clothing, or props
(as long as school appropriate).
***Extra info to know:





No computer lab or library time will be provided during class. If you would like to type your
information, I will write hall passes for lunch time or after school.
We will be working on this assignment for several days in class. Therefore, you should NOT
be spending much homework time on this (unless you choose to type your information, print
research, or print pictures to bring to class to work with).
Bring coloring utensils, glue, scissors… Anything you might need or want to use
I will provide iPads and library books for additional research during class time.
Be creative and have fun!!
