This is the final year of a three year effort. Issues • The number of Pressure Gain Combustion abstracts has been growing over the last few years while the number of non-PGC abstracts has declined. This year there was a 50/50 split between PGC and non-PGC abstracts. We may need more invited sessions in the future to keep the non-PGC abstracts at an acceptable level. He published over 130 papers in this and other important topics related to propulsion. Dr. Balu Sekar 1951-2014 Dr. Sekar was known for his tireless work and outstanding service to AIAA. In addition to carrying out his responsibilities at the Combustion Branch of AFRL/WPAFB, Balu contributed to our HSABPTC, the CFD Standards, Meshing and Visualization Technical Committee, and HyTASP PC. Balu will be remembered for his kindness and gentle soul. He loved Carnatic music, he danced traditional dances, and he sang with such fervor and devotion. He was a colleague, a classmate, and a true friend. 26 We will miss him dearly!
